Jacques Demierre (born 1954 in Geneva) is a pianist, composer and improviser, author of solo and group concerts and sound performances, radio plays, collaborative performances and site-specific installations. He has collaborated with artists (Chris Mann, Caroline Bergvall, Christian Kesten), choreographers (Cindy van Acker, Noemi Lapzeson) and numerous musicians (Axel Dörner, Jonas Kocher, Fritz Hauser, Sainkho Namtchylak, Irène Schweizer, John Butcher, Brandon LaBelle, Jason Kahn, Butch Morris, Roger Turner, Okkyung Lee, Peter Evans, Carlos Zingaro, Gunter Müller, Jaap Blonk, Barry Guy, Sylvie Courvoisier, Han Bennink…).

Swiss saxophonist Urs Leimgruber (born 1952 in Lucerne) has been one of the leading voices of improvised music since the 1970s. He has performed internationally with Steve Lacy, Fred Frith, Marylin Crispell, Joëlle Léandre, György Kurtag, Michel Doneda, Jean-Marc Foussat, and in the LDP trio formed in the early 2000s with Jacques Demierre and Barre Phillips.

Barre Phillips (1934-2024) was an American jazz double bassist. He played a major role in the emancipation of the double bass in the context of improvised music.
