Drawing from Lisa Lerkenfeldt's field work and electroacoustic practices, piano, cello and tape loop arrangements light up lost chambers and underground histories in a patchwork of reflective musique concrète, instrumental composition and surreal cinema.

Trances, Jules Reidy's follow-up to the celebrated World in World (2022), gathers twelve tracks shifting between fragment and epic, returning to familiar phrases between forays outward into uncertain expanses. Through its exploration of the cyclical movements of grief and emotional turbulence, Trances produces a sonic world as raw, absorbing, and surprising as anything Reidy has created to date.

Soil Affinities explores the connections of (post)colonial history and the movement of plants for agriculture, from Aubervilliers, a northern suburb of Paris, to formerly French West Africa (Mali and Senegal). This publication and Uriel Orlow's eponymous project retrace the lines and networks of earthly connections between plants and humans through images, maps, texts, and interviews conducted in France, Senegal, and Mali over the span of two years.

The ninth solo album of the American composer and percussionist reflects his move to Manhattan, where he produced Stadium. Starting with urban field recordings, he then builds on these environments to create subliminal spaces for his percussion, keyboards and acoustic instruments. Central to his work, his drumset and acoustic percussion performances are pushed to new levels with mesmerizing string and brass arrangements.

For his first record in 6 years, Thomas Ankersmit pays homage to the late legendary Dutch composer, electronic and tape music pioneer, and multimedia artist Dick Raaijmakers. Inspired by Raaijmakers's composition and recording techniques, Ankersmit exclusively used analogue devices, creating three-dimensional and holophonic sound fields.
