Suspended spaces #05 – Fordlândia

Suspended spaces - Suspended spaces #05
An artistic project carried out around Fordlândia—a town built from 1928 onwards by Henry Ford in Amazonia on the banks of the Tapajòs to intensively exploit the rubber tree needed to manufacture tyres, which, following the failure of the project, became a small village in the middle of an industrial heritage of uncertain statu. With twenty international artists and researchers, in collaboration with Fotoativa, a Brazilian collective from Belém.
