and director. Harun Farocki is an artist, director and film essayist. Eloy Fernández Porta
is a critic, essayist, professor of literature and the history of cinema at Barcelona's Pompeu
Fabra University and performer. Carlos Losilla is an essayist and professor of cinema
theory and contemporary genres at Barcelona's Pompeu Fabra University. Kaja
Silverman is Chancellor's Professor of Rhetoric and Film at the University of California at
Jordi Vidal is an essay writer and a video maker. He is the author of Servitude et simulacre en temps réel et flux constant (Allia, 2007) and an eponymous film (2008). Andreïna Mastio is a video maker. She is the author of Quand le temps sort de ses gonds (2011).
Jean-Luc Godard (born 1930 in Paris) is a Franco-Swiss filmmaker. A central figure of the French New Wave (Breathless, Contempt, Pierrot le fou…), and a promoter of a political cinema (with the Dziga Vertov Group), Jean-Luc Godard is one of the great names of Cinema history.
