An insight into the exhibition designed by designer Guillaume Bloget for the Cité du design, and his entire approach.
Guillaume Bloget (born 1991) is an independent designer based in Paris. He graduated from ENSCI-les Ateliers. After working for architects Zaha-Hadid and Dominique Perrault, he founded his industrial design studio in 2018. His work aims to establish economical relationships between material, technique and uses. He seeks fluidity in the convergence of gestures to achieve form. He develops this approach in collaborations with companies in the industrial and artisanal sector such as Vitra, Hermès, Ligne-Roset, Nemo, Maison Richard, Oros. Since 2016, he has been exploring the history and manufacture of everyday objects with the
Typologie collective. In 2020, the Vitra design museum devotes an exhibition to their research. In 2024, the
Cité du design dedicates a monographic exhibition to his work.
