Creator and director of
Mamco (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Geneva) from its opening in 1994 until 2015, former director of the
Villa Arson (Nice), publisher (founder of
Walden n editions) and art critic, Christian Bernard (1950-2026) is the author of a body of poetic work published since 1966, for which he was awarded the Académie Française's Grand Prize for Poetry in 2026.
