Kino/AtelierProgram

 - Kino/Atelier
A book produced in conjunction with Bauer Verlag's eponymous series of screenings at the Studio/Cinema in Brooklyn, with about 25 contributions.
Bauer Verlag was established in 2012 in Frankfurt as an artist collective to publish text-based books by artists and friends.

Nicholas Vargelis is one of the associated artists of the CNEAI =. He has created and programmed the Studio/Cinema in Brooklyn from 2018 to 2020. He lives in New-York and Paris. His work combines various contemporary practices — social organisation, technological development, narrative histories, the iconography of forms (such as the history of the light bulb), with the artist as trickster or "situation inventor" who alters contexts to provoke different orders of thought. His practice is often collaborative and linked to a social network of artists, writers, architects and thinkers.
Edited by Bauer Verlag.
