A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Nina Fuga (born 1983, Venice, lives and works in London) is an illustrator who works across various media ranging from drawing to moving image. Her images are influenced by fashion and inspired by her travels and restless search for the exotic, a fascinating and omnipresent part of her upbringing. Nina hates to draw surrounded by silence so a lot of her drawings happen on location.
Nina is also part of a collaborative project with Swedish artist and illustrator Emma Löfström. Together they founded the drawing research platform Fuga+Löfström, to investigate the medium of drawing in relation to technology and social media. Two most notable Fuga+Löfström international workshops and exhibitions are MBA's Yinka Shonibare's Guest Project, London and FLORA Ars+Natura, Bogota.
Aside her studio practice Nina teaches Illustration at Kingston University London and at the University of Brighton. She is the editor of the “Lights Out” series of colouring books published by Bruno.
