New edition of the catalogue first published on the occasion of the eponymous exhibition at Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois Gallery in 2017.
Niki de Saint Phalle (Catherine Marie-Agnès de Saint-Phalle, 1930-2002), Franco-American artist, painter, engraver, sculptor and film-maker, famous in particular for her monumental "Nanas", left behind a protean, feminist, exuberant and avant-garde body of work, at the crossroads of Pop Art, New Realism and Neo-Dada, made up of performance-paintings, sculptures and psychoanalytical films.
