First monograph of the Argentine artist, bringing together a selection of paintings created between 2015 and 2017.
Designed as an artist's book, El Amor Imperfecto brings together several paintings, many of which reveal a playful set of correspondences between the images and the texts written by Fabián Casas and Ariel Idez. This body of work is inspired by the emotional codes created in a couple's relationship combined with elements from the artist's everyday environment. The works are presented as floating in the notebook without strict format, and free of supports. It also allows us to appreciate Gimena Macri's very personal colour palette that reflects her work.
