Laurie Dall'Ava

Laurie Dall'Ava (born 1982) is a French artist based in Arles. She pursues a unique and experimental artistic practice exploring memory and the living, at the intersection of photography, the visual arts, and conceptual art. Drawing on a photographic archive compiled from the fields of natural sciences and the humanities, Laurie Dall'Ava filters and transforms this rich iconographic material, creating a dialogue between them in minimalist yet powerful installations where the images come to life.
