Jason Mclean (1971, London, Ontario) and Mark DeLong (1978, New Brunswick) are two of the youngest and most interesting artists living and working in Vancouver at present.
Mark DeLong is a self-taught artist working in sculpture, video, and painting. His most recent solo exhibition was at Attache Gallery in Vancouver; group exhibitions at Spencer Brownstone Gallery in New York, Bjornson Kajiwara Gallery in Vancouver, and Thaw the Yeti at Brooklyn Fire Proof in New York.
Jason McLean's diverse practice includes drawing, sculpture, installation, sound performance and mail art. Much of his work contains collaborative elements. As an illustrator he has worked with Adbusters and Bananafish Magazine.
