Complete Music For Films1960-1984 (3 CD)

Luc Ferrari - Complete Music For Films
This 3CD set gathers the complete work by Luc Ferrari for films  from 1960 to 1984 including electronic pieces, concrete music made in GRM and some hybrid including traditional instruments. These rare and for the most part unpublished recordings comprise collaborations with Jean Cocteau and Jean Tinguely.
Very rare pieces, most are unpublished (with collaboration with Jean Cocteau and Jean Tinguely), this is for the very first time the complete scope of one of the most innovative composer of the XX century.  Including 2 lighting texts by two writers and critics Philippe Langlois (Les Cloches d'Atlantis) and Guillaume Contré, some rare photograms from films and some handwritings notes by Ferrari himself.
Co-founder of the Groupe de Recherche Musicales in Paris (GRM) with Pierre Schaeffer in 1958, Luc Ferrari (1929-2005) is a pioneer and a major figure of musique concrète and electroacoustic music, soon to pave his own path of individualistic expressions of minimalist music, musical theater, field recordings, orchestral music and soundtracks.
Texts by Philippe Langlois and Guillaume Contré.
