This first monograph, dedicated to this Korean artist who distinguished herself on the international scene at the end of the 90's, is based on monstrosities, organic, cybourg creatures and post-human aliens that populate Lee Bul's sculpted universe. Between Schlemmer and science fiction, feminism and whatever is beyond, this publication is a display for Lee Bul's world, coinciding with her first retrospective in France.
Born 1964 in Yongwol, South Korea, Lee Bul lives and works in Seoul.
