500 pages of interviews between artists.
Artist + Artist—the section launched in 2025 with key conversations between
Simon Denny and
Hito Steyerl, and between
Cory Arcangel and Maya Man (
Cura. 45: Blackout)—now expands into a complete takeover of
Cura. with the first
Artist + Artist special edition.
Through an interwoven dialogue – both generational and intergenerational – among international artists, this issue explores the major questions, discourses, practices and urges currently crossing the landscape of contemporary art, i.e. dialogue intended as a necessary condition for inhabiting space and time—a realm made of alliances, shared possibilities, opacities, and conflicts.
Cura. 47: Artist + Artist—with over five hundred pages and two different graphic covers, designed by Dan Solbach—takes shape through an extensive relational framework in which practices intersect, critical thought is nurtured, and collective discourse is called upon to engage in constant negotiation and exchange. Artists who share practices, imaginaries, and media thereby give rise to a vast space of resonance—one that activates new possibilities of meaning alongside folds and zones of contact where artistic thought is built both individually and collectively.

Cura.magazine is a platform for contemporary art based in Rome that investigates with an independent spirit today's artistic production, art's emerging scene and the borders that have marked its central moments, through collaborations with international artists and curators, who live in different areas of the world. It has a production of three issues per year.
The platform is also an editorial structure (Cura.books), publishing a series of artist's books (see the
corresponding page in the publishers section).
