Rivage(s)An attempt at collective play and reflection around the Gironde Estuary

Le Un - Rivage(s)
Le Un ensemble orchestra, accompanied by a group of guest researchers, continues its sonic, musical, and poetic experiments as it travels downriver along the Gironde estuary.
In 2021, at the invitation of Chant du Moineau, Le Un experimented in collective spontaneous creating on a section of the Dordogne River.
In an aquatic and poetic logic of space, Le Un continued its research along the Gironde estuary. Three working sessions with three different teams, ultimately bringing together the entire orchestra and our guests: Claire Steimer, historian, Olivier Chadoin, sociologist, Eric Chauvier, anthropologist, Guillaume Bonnel, photographer and also Antoine Boutet, film-maker present throughout this second part. Claire, Eric, Guillaume and Antoine are the observers of this experiment. By analogy, they intersect and corroborate our methods with their respective practices.
Le Un is an improvisation society which brings together musicians, a lighting artist, and a performer. Le Un is a polymorphic mass that preserves the individual and their practices without hindering the space of the collective.
Le Un features Sophie Agnel (piano), Pascal Battus (rotating surfaces), Claire Bergerault (vocals and accordion), Benjamin Bondonneau (clarinet), Christophe Cardoen (lights), Patrick Charbonnier (trombone), Michel Doneda (soprano saxophone), Camille Emaille (percussion), Amanda Gardone (double bass), Bertrand Gauguet (alto saxophone), Nina Garcia (electric guitar), Anouck Genthon (violin), Rozemarie Heggen (double bass), Benoit Kilian (percussion), Soizic Lebrat (cello), David Chiesa (double bass), Michel Mathieu (performance), Natacha Muslera (vocals), Lionel Marchetti (electroacoustics), Yukiko Nakamura (dance), Jérôme Noetinger (electroacoustics), Jean-Luc Petit (contrabass clarinet), Christian Pruvost (trumpet), Dominique Regef (hurdy-gurdy), Aude Romary (cello), Mathieu Werchowski (violin).
