Don't Get Me Wrong

Nabil Nahas - Don\'t Get Me Wrong
A comprehensive guide to the monumental, immersive installation created by Nabil Nahas for the Lebanese Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale.
Through a series of chapters, the catalog of the Lebanese Pavilion at the 2026 Art Biennale examines the multiple dimensions of Don't Get Me Wrong, a monumental and immersive installation by artist Nabil Nahas. It addresses the aesthetic and philosophical issues at stake and offers keys to understanding a work that invites contemplation, introspection, and meditation. Conceived as an extension of the exhibition, the publication contextualizes  the pavilion's scenography and its dialogue with space, and brings together a set of scholarly essays that situate the installation in the context of contemporary art and art history.
