Contiene Metal

This monographic publication offers the first comprehensive overview of Lolo & Sosaku's work over the past two decades, bringing together installations, performances, concerts, and artistic processes developed across multiple continents.
Conceived as a reference volume, the book reflects the transnational dimension of their practice and documents their singular universe through a dynamic editorial structure that embraces both clarity and controlled chaos. Combining extensive visual documentation with newly commissioned critical texts, the volume addresses curators, scholars, artists, and readers interested in expanded sculpture, sound art, and contemporary practices that challenge the boundaries between art, technology, and embodied experience.
Lolo & Sosaku are a contemporary artist duo whose practice expands sculpture into the realms of sound, movement, and performance, forging a unique bridge between Latin America, Europe, and Japan. Born in Buenos Aires and Tokyo respectively and based in Barcelona, their work operates across cultural geographies, combining kinetic sculpture, electronic music, and site-specific installation to create immersive environments in which objects become active forces—producing rhythm, tension, and unpredictable physical and sonic events. Their practice explores the relationship between creation and destruction, material resistance, and the visceral experience of sound.
