Maureen Murphy

Maureen Murphy is an art historian, Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Art History at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, member of the Institut Universitaire de France. Her research focuses on the globalization of the art scene from the perspective of relations between Africa and Europe, as well as the history of primitivism, exhibition and biennials policies.
