Ahmed Al Mulla (born 1961 in Alahsa, Saudi Arabia), a major
poet of contemporary Arab literature, is an emblematic figure of the Saudi cultural scene, a tireless promoter of culture in his country and leader of a whole generation of poets and artists active in the eastern region of the country "Al Charguia".
