Ten encounters between artists and young audiences between 2011 and 2013.
This publication documents a series of measures aiming to familiarise young audiences with contemporary art through working with artists. Between 2011 and 2013 l'Antenne, the public outreach department of the Frac Île-de-France, implemented a programme of cultural events around “An Invitation to Travel” aimed at individual visitors as well as schools and universities. As part of this scheme, ten artists were invited to meet pupils and students and develop experimental workshops in response to the participants' specific demands, while shedding a new light on their own practice.
