An exhaustive catalogue of all exhibited works by M/M (Paris). Revised 320 pages edition.
This is the second inventory of M/M (Paris) works that have appeared in the art world as specific
objects, coming from a condensation of different collaborations, where they have been constructed
The Inventory includes not only their posters series (The Alphabet, The Alphamen, Art Posters,
Utopia of Flows…) but also objects they have designed (lighting, candles, wallpapers, mirrors,
frames and stools), as well as their books, films and installations… This augmented version is
updated with works which have appeared since the now out-of-print original edition of 2006.
M/M (Paris) is a creative partnership between Mathias Augustyniak (born 1967 in Cavaillon) and Michael Amzalag (born 1968 in Paris),
founded in 1992. Working within the framework of language and design, they practice
across many cultural fields. Unfettered by the structures of disciplinary boundaries, these
self-described artists perceive their professional title to be Strategic Creative Directors.
From their Parisian studio, M/M has worked and developed strong relationships with
musicians (Björk, Madonna, Jean-Louis Murat...); contemporary artists
