Zilla and the 7th Room

Zilla and the 7th Room Zilla Leutenegger - Zilla and the 7th Room
In Zilla Leutenegger's new book, the artist's main character "Zilla" is given her own voice. The very personal narration accompanies the adventures of this alter-ego-character and explains works, drawings, and installations in the style of a grown-up children's book.
In addition to the works are academic texts by Beate Söntgen and Dorothee Messmer on Leutenegger's work, focusing on the relation of spatial environments, rooms, architecture, and the human figure.
The publication is part of the series of artist's projects edited by Christoph Keller.
Born 1968 in Zürich, Zilla Leutenegger lives and works in Berlin.
Edited by Christoph Keller, Markus Landert, Dorothee Messmer.
