Saad Almasari (born 1953 in Al-Muzahimiyah, Saudi Arabia) is a multimedia artist and art educator. Rooted in the desert landscapes and vernacular architecture of his environment, Almasari's work transforms the visual principles of Islamic art, including repetition, proportion, light, and symmetry, into a contemporary language of abstraction.
