Aletheia Casey

 
Aletheia Casey (born 1980) is an Australian photographic artist based in London. Her photographic work explores environmental issues, post-colonial legacies, and themes of family, home and cultural identity. She won the World Press Award for Southeast Asia and Oceania (Open Category) in 2024 and has received numerous international recognitions, including the Australian Photography Awards and the Head On Landscape Award. Her work has been published in The New Yorker, The Guardian, and The Financial Times Magazine, and exhibited internationally. She is Course Leader of the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication, UAL.
