Brigitta Kuster

 
Brigitta Kuster (born 1970) is an artist, filmmaker, cultural researcher, writer, and Professor at the Department of Cultural History and Theory, Humboldt University of Berlin. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Kuster specialises in film, visual and gender studies, with a particular emphasis on postcolonial and European border studies. Kuster is a member of EIPCP, the European Institute for Progressive Cultural Policies as well as of the publication platform "transversal texts".
