Kris Lüdi

Kris Lüdi (born 1987 in Zurich) is a filmmaker and visual artist. His work explores social rituals, their aesthetic forms and underlying dynamics. Lüdi is interested in the tension between conservative gestures and progressive impulses, between truth and illusion. Through filmic, photographic and installation-based stagings, he makes these contrasts visible without resolving them. His practice moves freely and without prejudice between representation and presentation.
