Daniel Teruggi

 
Daniel Teruggi is a French composer of Italian origin born 1952 in Argentina. For a long time director of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM), then director of Research and Experimentation at Ina, he is interested in "mixed music", associating instrumental and electroacoustic composition, as well as in the sound treatment of the voice. He holds a doctorate in Art and Technology from the University of Paris VIII and teaches sound and visual arts at the University of Paris I. In parallel with his compositional work, he has developed an important research activity, working mainly on the relationship between creation and technology as well as on issues related to the perception of sound phenomena.
