Mathilde Supe

 
Mathilde Supe (born 1989 in Paris) studied art history before working on film sets and then entering the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts de Paris-Cergy. She also trained with film editor Mathilde Muyard, video artist Keren Cytter, filmmaker Éric Baudelaire and choreographer Eric Minh Cuong Castaing at the Ballet National de Marseille. In 2018 she joined the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales.
Mathilde Supe creates stories with films, video installations, books and editions. Her approach to storytelling mixes fiction, collective imagination, sociology and media studies to question the phenomena of representation and interpretation.
