Michel Beretti, author, Jérôme Lamy, sociologist, and Élise Parré, artist, joined in a yearlong research project initiated by the Observatoire de l'Espace (the cultural laboratory of the French Space Agency) around the birth of the French space technology and its first spaceport in Hammaguir, Algeria.
