This publication presents the outcomes of Romana Schmalisch's long-term project, the Mobile Cinema, an itinerant apparatus somewhere between urban model, cinema, and plate camera. The artist constructed the Mobile Cinema and used it to present films created during her travels, mobilizing film extracts and archive material.
