This publication documents recent works by American artist, with several illustrations and preparatory drawings, as well as an essay by Robert Hobbs and a biography.
Published for the exhibition at Yvon Lambert Gallery, New York, February - March 2007.
Born 1939 in Sacramento, Richard Jackson lives and works in Los Angeles. His work, in the legacy of Marcel Duchamp and Bruce Nauman and Paul McCarthy, is a satirical criticism of the art object and social conventions, placing objects or simulacres on stage in a violent manner.
