Artist's book.
Ute Müller's book Entre-deux follows on from the Austrian artist's solo exhibition held at La Salle de Bains in Lyon in May 2025. The book was conceived as a spatial and conceptual extension of the exhibition, in dialogue with curator Julie Portier and graphic designer Dorothea Brunialti.
Ute Müller (born in 1978) lives and works in Vienna. After studying painting, she expanded her practice to include sculpture, installation, and spatial interventions, as well as a broader dialogue on social structures through the fanzine Black Pages and her multiple reinterpretations of Adolf Loos's American Bar.
