Raphaële de Gastines

Raphaële de Gastines (born 1982) is a French painter, who has the particularity of being the main subject of her works. Expressionist self-portraits are multiplied, large and small. They offer surreal scenes, in stifling box-like interiors with exaggerated perspectives, or in turbulent landscapes in which the storm seems to be brewing.
