Bureau des Illusions Sonores

Bureau des Illusions Sonores is a unique DJ duo who are reinventing the place of DJing in the public space, through the prism of a dissolution of this practice in the banality of everyday life. Record collectors on the fringes of the musical field (sound effects, field recording, tool records, samples, sound effects, etc.), Elia and Adam David (co-designer of the cult record Sounds of Silence) exploit this singular and too often invisible background sound to offer a new way of interacting with our immediate environment. They intervene in the form of DJ sets responding to very specific needs: virtual crowd, plant care, fictitious presence, etc.
