Thibault Walter

 
Sound artist and musician Thibault Walter (born 1978 in Lausanne) is a senior lecturer and researcher in sound studies at the Cantonal School of Art in Lausanne (ECAL). As a curator, he has managed the sound performance programme of the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival (LUFF) since its creation in 2002. As a publisher, he directs the Rip on/off collection of French translations of texts by sound, noise and radio artists such as Zbigniew Karkowski, Helen Thorington, GX Jupitter-Larsen, Michael Gendreau, Gregory Whitehead, David Dunn, Leif Elggren, Yan Jun, Bryan Lewis Saunders, Nicolas Collins, Kenneth Gaburo and Diamanda Galás.
