Ekkehard Ehlers

 
Berlin-based producer Ekkehard Ehlers (born 1974 in Frankfurt am Main) is a sound artist and electronic musician mainly working in the field of and digital manipulations of existing music. By the late 1990's, Ehlers worked at the Mille Plateaux/Force Inc. office in Frankfurt, curating the Ritornell label series. Since 2000 he started working on ballet scores for the choreographers William Forsythe and later Christoph Winkler and for Ulrich Rasche. Ehlers has curated Music festivals such as “under construction”, “Audio Poverty” and “Lux Aeterna” and the Donaueschinger Musiktage 2020.
Ekkehard Ehlers also teaches time based media at Stuttgart's Merz Academy for Design.
