Roger Tallon

Roger Tallon (1929-2011) is a key figure in French design and has worked in nearly all facets of the design industry : early in his career he focused primarily on domestic design; he then turned to aesthetic and institutional concerns; and later his practice became strictly industrial. His diverse accomplishments include his Téléavia portable television set, Lip watches, designs for the first high-speed train, Mexico's subway system, and the introduction of design teaching into specialist schools in France.
