The third volume of a five-chapter publication series, this catalogue celebrates a new iteration of the artist's color spectrum series that congregates his art, the architecture of the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, and the public as collaborators in an all-encompassing experience.
For Let's start this day again at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ugo Rondinone covered all ten thousand square feet of the museum's spaces with fluorescent colors from the entire spectrum: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. In this way the exhibition became a big, enveloping, three-dimensional painting in which all nine key bodies of work from the color spectrum series were carefully orchestrated. The fulcrum was vocabulary of solitude.
Published following the eponymous exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, from May 6 to August 20, 2017.

Also available in a Limited Edition box set.
Ugo Rondinone (*1963, Switzerland) has lived in New York for several years. Using photography, video, painting, drawing, sculpture, sound, and text by turns, Rondinone is a virtuoso of forms and techniques. Developing surprising sensorial environments, he especially likes destabilizing our perceptions and unsettling our certainties. Rearranging content and formal elements, a personal poetic with elements taken directly from the outside world, he draws us into a synesthetic experience.
