Jérémie Gindre

 
Jérémie Gindre (born 1978 in Geneva) is a Swiss artist and writer. He has published more than a dozen works in various forms—novel, short stories, essay, articles, artist's book, comic-strip, photographic book, educational guide—and has shown his work in a number of exhibitions of drawing, sculpture and text. His practice is strongly influenced by his interest in geography and history and mostly relies on geology, archaeology, conceptual art, neuroscience, apiculture and tourism.
His work has been presented most notably in Kunsthaus Baselland, Kunstmuseum Thun, Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires, Kunsthalle Fri-Art in Fribourg, as well as at La Criée in Rennes. His work has been published by Fink, Boabooks, Rollo Press, Motto, Lendroit, and Éditions de l'Olivier.
