American underground cartoonist Mike Diana (Michael Christopher Diana, born 1969 in Pinellas, Floride) is the only artist to date to receive a criminal conviction in the United States for obscenity. His work, which is largely self-published, deals with themes including sexuality, violence, and religion. His original drawings are exhibited all over the world.
