In Myotis, Anthony Laguerre goes beyond rhythm using improvisation and a free approach as main technical support of invention. In a research based on rhythm and sound material around drums, he expresses sensitivity, softness and power thanks to expert skills and sound recording techniques. The union of these materials create songs made of multiple tones combined with percussions and occasionally harmonica.

Félicia Atkinson and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma have thought of this new collaboration as a series of soundscapes filled with literary and cinematographic references, from Sylvia Plath's poetry to the films of Hal Hartley and Wong Kar Wai. The album carries a strange echo of the 1990s, materialized in Julien Carreyn's cover photograph.

Singing songs while playing ding dongs, Charlemagne Palestine's solo voice over the bells of his studio carillon is a premiere in his recorded works, and possibly the first voice/carillon record in musical history. All the little shamanic stuffed deities inhabiting the carillon added their souls to the spirit of the reverberating songs, including a song in memory of Mika Vainio.

The second issue of the magazine FREEING (Our Bodies) is dedicated to the musical work of Frédéric Acquaviva: some forty prestigious contributors (Jean-François Bory, Broutin, Laurent Cauwet, Henri Chopin, Jacques Donguy, Michel Giroud, Bernard Heidsieck, Joël Hubaut, Dorothy Iannone, Otto Muehl, Virgile Novarina, ORLAN, Jean-Luc Parant…) examine and pay tribute to this original creator through poetic texts, portraits, drawings, photographs, interviews, chronicles…

This LP draws on twenty years of archives recorded by Charles Pennequin on mini-cassettes. Spontaneous recordings of his readings, unpublished solitary monologues, vocal and sound experiments, ambient sounds were selected and edited in the studio by the poet, and thought of as a global composition that goes through different registers and eras of his poetry.

Conceived as rendering of a live concept the Berlin based duo of Tony Buck and Magda Mayas have been developing during one year or so, featuring multi-speaker and multi-layered audio, the essence of Stereo sees SPILL performing in the studio, improvising and reacting to previously recorded improvisations and pre-structured, pre-recorded elements.

Recording of a sound performance executed in October 2016 in the exhibition space of Berlin record store Rumpsti Pumsti. Using sanding machines and a hammer, the Mexican artist destroyed one copy of each publication ever released by Tochnit Aleph label. Without an audience present, the action was documented with two dynamic microphones.
