Visions of Apocalypse.

The first artist book by Athena Papadopoulos conceived as a diary and a novel. The publication is a collection of drawings and thoughts of the artist in the form of a romance, published in two different editions.

This monograph brings together nearly a decade of work, combining sculpture, installation, artist's book and writing. More specifically, the publication explores the themes of growth and training within the artist's conceptual practice, through a long interview conducted by writer and curator Dieter Roelstraete.

This recording stems from a collaborative sound experimentation developed as part of a project to create new forms for artistic research within the university. Invited artists, musicians, and researchers produced a series of sound actions focusing on questions of community, creative resistances, sonic agency and the créolité passing between Haiti and Quebec.

Sound artist Anne-F Jacques' first publication: an inventory of objects and materials with which she produces sound and kinetic assemblages. The book features a selection of recent drawings from the artist's notebooks.

A poetic narrative in which the author, sound artist Émilie Mouchous, investigates her own psyche through an exploration of plants. The artist's first publication features a hyperlink to download the soundtrack of the poem, an 18-minute piece with voice and synthesizers.

During his exhibition at Westfälischer Kunstverein in Münster, artist Zin Taylor invited musicians Christina Vantzou and John Also Bennett to interpret a 90-meter panoramic wall drawing as a musical graphic score. This vinyl edition gathers the recording of this minimal music performance, along with a 180 cm leporello reproduction of the wall drawing.

What can art do to relieve pain and heal wounds? This issue's main section addresses these questions through an examination of works by Kader Attia, Emily Falencki, Eric Fischl, Berlinde De Bruyckere and Teresa Margolles, as well as two essays by Édith-Anne Pageot and Mirna Boyadjian. Other features includes an interview with Marion Zilio, followed by the usual sections “Interview”, “Events” and “Reviews”.

Grande poussière is the product of a collaborative poetic writing process carried out over the course of several years. Forms, approaches and sensibilities come face to face, an uneasy meeting of words and matter.

Shot in South Africa in 1992, Moyra Davey's Gold Dumps and Ant Hills is a series of black-and-white photographs of mounds left behind by two types of excavation—one human and one animal. For Davey, the pairings of gold dumps and ant hills “invite not only our imagined associations but, as South African landscapes, our received, politically charged associations as well.” The photographs are presented here in book form for the first time.

The conclusion of Saloman's musical trilogy for contemporary dance, this time inspired by a work by choreographer Vanessa Goodman. The bowed guitar, militant percussion and searing guitar eruptions, are joined by distorted guitar, minimalist piano attacks, melancholy guitar melodies, a patina of harsh noise, and a more contemporary approach to drums and bass. A study on the relationship between literature and madness from the 18th century until now.

Study book made by artist George Trakas in response to a commission issued by inhabitants of the Lamelouze commune in the southern French region of Gard, north of Alès (as part of the “New Patrons” program, initiated and supported by the Fondation de France).

Gathering works from 1994 to 2017, this new monograph focuses on the artist's fictional self-portraits from his lightbox series as well as on his musical production. It includes an iconographic documentation, essays by artists, critics, and curators, and a text by Graham himself.
