IF Publications

IF Publications is a publishing platform established in Barcelona in the autumn of 2015. IF is an initiation of action, of reflection, of invention and dialogue between contemporary art, poetry, thought and experience.
IF Publications seeks to activate the interstitial zones of knowledge where an undisciplined thought arises: where the boundaries of fields become evident and new ways of seeing and thinking appear.
Each publication is intended to be the result of a collective process, of a discussion between form and content, between the publisher, the author, and the reader. For IF, a book is not merely the support of a finished work but another stage in the creation and investigation processes through which to publicise unknown aspects of artists, thinkers, and professionals, regardless of whether they are contemporary or not.
Faced with the commodification of culture, IF Publications advocate independent publishing as a space for critical thought and reflection.
