Les multiples de Eins, Un, One (postcards)

Matthieu Saladin - Les multiples de Eins, Un, One (postcards)
Set of 8 postcards proposing each one the pattern (to cut oneself) of one of the 8 dice present in Robert Filliou's source installation Eins, Un, One.
Each card respects the size and colors of the die. As prints, these postcards singularly replay the relationship between the single and the multiple, whose infinite constellations become epistolary here. These virtual dice can thus be propagated throughout the world as they are sent.
Matthieu Saladin is an artist and associate professor in visual art at University Paris 8 (TEAMeD / AI-AC). His practice takes place in a conceptual approach and often uses sound. He is interested in the production of spaces, the history of artistic forms and creative process, and in the relationships between art and society from a political and economic point of view. He is the editor of the series Ohcetecho (Les presses du réel) and collaborates with journals such as Volume! and Revue & Corrigée.
