Swiss architect Luigi Snozzi (born 1932 in Mendrisio, lives and works in Locarno, Zurich and Lausanne) studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. From 1962 to 1971, he collaborated with architect Livio Vacchini. From 1985 to 1997, he was professor of architecture at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and a visiting professor at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, as well as in Geneva, Bucharest, Trieste and Alghero.
Philosopher Fabio Merlini is the Director of the Regional Office for Italian Switzerland of the Istituto Universitario Federale per la Formazione Professionale (IUFFP), a visiting professor at the University of Lausanne, and the chairman at the Eranos Foundation since 2010. From 1996 to 2000, he co-directed the research group on History's ontology at the Husserl Archives (Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris).
