Richard Jackson

Born 1939 in Sacramento, Richard Jackson lives and works in Los Angeles. His work, in the legacy of Marcel Duchamp and Bruce Nauman and Paul McCarthy, is a satirical criticism of the art object and social conventions, placing objects or simulacres on stage in a violent manner.
