Kasper T. Toeplitz (born 1960 in Warsaw) is a French composer and bassist of Polish origin. Between "academic" composition (he works with the most important state institutions: GMEM, GRM, IRCAM, Radio-France) and electronic or "noise" music (solo or in collaboration with experimental or unclassifiable musicians: Éliane Radigue, Zbigniew Karkowski, Dror Feiler, Tetsuo Furudate, Phill Niblock, Gérard Hourbette of Art Zoyd, Fred Bigot, Gerome Nox, etc.), he develops computer compositions based on sound material structures with lightening evolutions. ), he develops computer compositions based on slowly evolving structures of sound materials, inhabited by an internal shimmering, fundamentally organic. He writes for dance (Myriam Gourfink, Loic Touzé, Olivia Grandville, Emmanuelle Huynh, Hervé Robbe, Artefact, Christian Trouillas, Jean-Marc Matos…), theater and develops "mixed" pieces, including light and/or video images
