Marcel Duchamp & l'érotisme

 - Marcel Duchamp & l\'érotisme
Curiously enough, although Duchamp considered eroticism as the main topic of his work, no essay had really focused on that matter yet. This book collects the lectures of about twenty international art historians and critics during a symposium organized by Marc Décimo.
Contributions by Marc Décimo, Jean Suquet, Michael R. Taylor, Patrick de Haas, James McManus, Julian Bourg, Sébastien Rongier, Lewis C. Kachur, David A. Gerstner, Tania Lorandi, Fae Brauer, Gavin Parkinson, Derek Sayer, Philippe Dagen, Elfreide Dreyer, Leah Sweet, Frédérique Joseph-Lowery, Ornella Volta, Cécile Bargues et Séverine Gossart.

Marc Décimo is Senior Lecturer in French Linguistics at the University of Orléans and Regent of the College of 'Pataphysics (Chair of Literary, Ethnographical and Architectural Amoriography). He is the editor of Lydie Fischer Sarazin-Levassor's memories with Marcel Duchamp (A Marriage in Check – The Heart of the Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelor, Even) and of Jean-Pierre Brisset's complete works, among others. He published several books on Duchamp at Les presses du réel.
