La Box art school (Bourges, France) curatorial project catalogue, bringing together as an organic whole the ten projects involved, including the exhibitions, lectures, seminar, answering machine messages and online forum. The aim of Les Formes du délai was to abandon the focus on the finished, exhibited work and concentrate on the network of practices and discourses taking shape around it, indexing the work's prior phases – documentation, research, construction, etc. – and what awaited it: viewer reception, critical discourse, archiving and so on.
Via a host of documents – emails, faxes, excerpts from books, interviews, etc. – which are simultaneously traces, tools and elucidations of the artists' methods, the catalogue extends the speculations underlying Les Formes du délai in a fresh, distinctive way.
